Arisaema flavum
Cobra Lily
A tuberous perennial originating from the Himalayas. This variety enjoys a bit more sun than most Cobra lily, and is possibly the smallest variety too. The leaf stem emerges in spring with umbrella like leaflets at the top. Tiny yellow pitcher shaped flower. Exotic looking foliage.
Max Height 130cm. Max Spread 30cm.
Full sun/Partial shade. Moist but well drained soil.
Hardy.
Harmful if eaten/skin and eye irritant.
Germination instructions:
Sow in early spring.
Soak seed for 24 hrs.
Sow seeds onto good quality compost and cover with 1-2cm compost.
place in a propagator.
