A tropical epiphytic, spineless cacti native to Mexico. Formally known as Epiphyllum chrysocardium. They are known for growing in tropical forests up in the tree canopies collecting nutrients from the animal droppings and debris that falls onto it’s large succulent leaves. The leaves have zig-zag edges hence it’s common name of fern leaf cactus. The large white flowers are rarely seen.
