Phytolacca americana ‘Variegata’ Seeds
Variegated Pokeweed
An erect perennial from America with mid-green leaves with creamy yellow variegation and pink veins and clusters of white or pink flowers followed by blackish maroon berries.
Max Height 90cm. Max Spread 60cm.
Flowers July to September. Fruits September.
Full sun/partial shade.
CAUTION toxic if eaten.
Germination Tips:
Sow seed onto good seed compost in Autumn or early spring in a cold propagator as they need cold stratification to germinate.
Once large enough to handle pot on and keep in a greenhouse until frosts have passed.
