Giant Butterbur
An unusual perennial native to China, Japan and Korea, with huge, round, green leaves that can reach 90cm across. Clusters of fragrant creamy white flowers in spring before the foliage appears. Can be invasive so best to contain if you do not wish for a large clump.
Max height 1.2m.
Full to part shade.
Moist to wet soil.
Hardy.
