A rounded shrub with stout stems of narrow, dark green leaves, honey-scented flowers with yellow-brown bracts, followed by warty, pea-like fruit. Native to Madeira and the Canary Islands.
Max Height 2m. Max Spread 2.5m.
Flowers April to June. Fruits August to September.
Full sun.
Frost hardy.
CAUTION skin and eye irritant/toxic if eaten.
