Tuberous perennial originating from the Himalayan woodland forest in Sikkim. Large, green tri-lobed leaves emerge in early spring followed by dark red spathes often striped with white. Max
Height 40cm. Max Spread 30cm.
Flowers: June-September
Partial shade. Moist but well drained soil.
Hardy.
Harmful if eaten/skin and eye irritant.
Plant with the top of the tuber 4-6” deep in rich well drained humus rich soil in light or dappled shade.
