Solanum pyracanthum is a fascinating evergreen shrub native to tropical Madagascar. Blue-green leaves that have prominent orange spines down the mid ribs. The stems are covered with orange fuzz. Also known as Solanum pyracanthos.

Lavender flowers June to September. Fruits September.
Full sun.
Not hardy. Over winter indoors with heat.
Harmful if eaten.
Germination tips:
Sow onto good quality seed compost.
Lightly cover seed.
Place into heated propagator or windowsill and keep moist.
