Castor Oil Plant
A dramatic exotic plant with striking purple leaves. Clusters of creamy yellow blooms, followed by maroon pods. The plants can grow so fast that they can be used as a very large and dramatic annual in the garden.
Height 90-120cm.
Full sun/partial shade.
Not hardy.
TOXIC. All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.
Germination tips:
Sown in April using good quality seed compost.
Place into a heated propagator or windowsill.
Prick out when large enough to handle.
