An unusual tropical cactus with thin angled, segmented stems giving a branched chain effect. Similar in appearance to Samphire. Native to South America and the Caribbean. Produces small yellow white flowers followed by white fruit.

Flowers April to May. Fruits June to July.

Part sun or a bright room with some direct sunlight. Min temp 50°F / 10°C.
