Golden Bamboo

An erect bamboo from China with grooved bright mid-green canes, becoming yellow-brown. Narrow yellowish to golden green leaves. Quite tolerant of wind – making it an ideal plant for hedges as well as a solitary specimen. Although Phyllostachys are not as spreading as some vigorous bamboo it is recommended to use a root barrier when planting.

Full sun/partial shade.

Moist soil.
