Blue Java Banana

A tropical plant with long broad leaves, huge burgundy flowers and very tasty fruit. One of the larger bananas with a stout trunk, robust root system. It produces clusters of blue green-fruit, smaller than commercial varieties, with white flesh and tastes like ice cream.

Max Height 6m. Max Spread 3m.

Flowers July. Fruits October.

Full sun/partial shade.

Tender.
