Burmese Blue Banana
A moderately sized banana, native to northern Thailand , possibly a form of M. balbisiana but quite probably is an undescribed species. The mature fruits are bluey/purple, rather small, and are used in Thai cuisine. Quite rare.
Max height 4m.
Full sun.
Rich, fertile soil.
Tender.
Seed grown by ourselves here at Turn it Tropical.
