Ensete ventricosum ‘Hiniba’

‘Hiniba’ is one of the most sought after Ensete, very rarely offered and especially by a Nursery. It’s more upright & elegant than the species. The leaves are slightly tougher than the species which makes them more wind tolerant, but still prone to shredding. Lovely red midrid and a soft glaucous hue on the stem. I think it’s definitely one for the banana collector because of the rarity.

Full sun. Sheltered from wind if possible.

Tender. Bring inside for winter.
