Echium ‘Blue Steeple’

A rosette-forming bi-annual or short-lived perennial with silver-hairy leaves. Each rosette produces a panicle of funnel-shaped blue flowers with large bracts which usually appear in its second year. ‘Blue Steeple’ is a hybrid of pininana but doesn’t grow as tall, but still very impressive.

Max Height 2m. Max Spread 90cm.

Flowers July to August.

Full sun.

Well drained soil.

Frost hardy.

Skin irritant.
