Mountain Cabbage Tree
An erect, palm-like tree from New Zealand, growing in the rich, organic soil in forest clearings. It has much broader leaves than its cousin, australis, with white powder on it’s undersides and a n orange mid-rib.
Max Height 8m. Max Spread 3m.
Flowers June to July. Fruits August.
Full Sun/Partial Shade.
Tender, needs protecting from frosts.
