The most common variety of the bottlebrush. An exotic looking evergreen shrub from Australia with narrow, sharp pointed, dark green leaves. Bears rich crimson red bottlebrush-like flowers from late spring until late summer.

Max Height 1.5m. Max Spread 1.5m.

Flowers May to July.

Plant in a sheltered spot in sun/part shade.

Well drained soil.

Frost Hardy.

Germination Tips:

Can be sow any time of year.

Sow in good seed compost, keep moist.

Keep around 18 degrees.
