An attractive branching tropical shrub from Northern South America with striking pink ‘powder puff’ -like heads of flowers borne over many weeks. Delicate bipinnate leaves. Named after it’s native country Suriname.

Max Height 3-5m. Max Spread 2-3m.

Flowers September to October.

Full sun.

Frost hardy. Some reports say it has survived outside in the UK in sheltered spots.
