A tropical shrub or tree from South America with green wavy edged leaves. Tubular flowers are orange-red with yellow veins.
Max Height 7m. Max Spread 2m.
Flowers April to September.
Full sun.
Not hardy.
CAUTION toxic if eaten.
Germination tips:
Needs stratification before sowing.
Sow in sandy compost at any time of the year.
Keep at between 15 and 20 degrees C.
