An interesting plant from Mexico with strap-like leaves forming an attractive plume. The base of the stem forms a bulbous-like feature. Although it has the name Pony Palm it is in fact a semi succulent more closely related to Yucca. Grown mainly as a houseplant or conservatory.
Max Height 1.4m. Max Spread 1m.
Flowers August to September.
Full sun or partial shade.
Hardy to -5°C.
