A beautiful epiphytic species of fern with spear-like fronds with frilly edges which surround a fibrous ‘nest’ in the centre. Native to tropical south-eastern Asia, eastern Australia, Hawaii, Polynesia, Christmas Island, India, and eastern Africa.
