Marimo Moss Ball
An unusual little algae that forms a moss like ball at the bottom of lakes in the Northern hemisphere. Becoming a very popular houseplant in the UK due to its very low maintenance and very cool look. Simply change half the water in the jar with fresh water every 2 weeks.
Grows very slowly at 5mm per year. Can reach up to 30cm.
Indirect sunlight. Direct sun can burn them especially when in the glass.
Keep them cool, away from radiators etc.
Gently shake your Moss Ball every now and then to simulate the waves on the ocean floor and to help it keep ball shaped.
