Ornamental Banana
A very pretty, tropical banana with long and narrow, glaucous green and often mottled leaves. Underside of leaves is usually a maroon colour. Very bright pink inflorescence.
Native to South East Asia.
Max Height 1.5m. Max Spread 1m.
Flowers July. Fruits October.
Full sun to part shade. Rich soil.
Tender. Protect in winter.
Well suited for indoor use as a houseplant.A must for the collector.
