A clump-forming perennial with glossy, deeply lobed, dark green leaves with irregular, white to pale yellow margins and mottling. Spikes of pink flowers with creamy-white bracts produced in summer. Grows in the rocky woodlands.
Native to southern Europe.

Flowers July to September.
